Stephanie & Petes Horse Riding Adventure Session and Elopement in Ireland

Day before their elopement with Crindle Bespoke: Welcoming Pete and Stevie to Our Irish Family Home
Pete and Stevie met us at Crindle, and we welcomed them into our cozy family home. As we gathered around the fire in our drawing room, built in the 1700s, we enjoyed a friendly chat over warm cups of tea and freshly baked scones. This relaxed time allowed us to get to know each other better and gave them a lovely glimpse into Irish home life.

Meeting their horses:
After our chat, it was time to meet their horses, Daisy and Rocky. Daisy is our very polite lady, and Rocky is our gentle giant. As Pete and Stevie spent time with these beautiful animals, they quickly discovered their unique personalities as we told them some stories about them. Next, we helped the couple get on their mounts. Stevie hadn’t ridden in years, and Pete had never ridden before, so this was a great opportunity for them to get comfortable in the saddle. With a focus on stopping and steering and trotting, they gained confidence as they prepared for the beach ride.

Scenic trail ride through the Irish countryside:
Their journey continued with a scenic mini trail ride through the breathtaking Irish countryside, where they took in the lush green fields, the magnificent Binevenagh mountain, and got to see some of our horses and ponies grazing together. The fresh air and stunning landscapes made their ride truly unforgettable.

Romantic Beach Ride
We loaded up the Land Rover Defender and took Pete and Stevie to one of Ireland’s most beautiful elopement beaches. The timing couldn’t have been better—just as the sun began dipping below the horizon, bathing everything in a warm, golden glow. Riding along the shore, with waves lapping gently at their horses' hooves, they shared an unforgettable moment of pure connection. Their adventure led them to a quiet spot near the iconic Mussenden Temple, where a carefully curated wild dining experience awaited. Surrounded by the sound of the sea and the breathtaking Irish coastline, they savored local Irish cuisine as the sunset stretched endlessly over the horizon. This intimate evening was the perfect prelude to their Dunluce Castle elopement—a day that would become their most cherished memory in Ireland.

Day of the Elopement at Dunluce Castle

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with golden light, Pete and Stevie’s elopement in Ireland felt truly magical. Daisy, our gentle Irish Clydesdale cross, stood quietly with a small flower tucked behind her ear, looking calm and beautiful. Stevie had spent time with Daisy the day before, so she felt completely at ease as she gently mounted. Pete took the reins, walking beside them with quiet confidence.

Step by step, Daisy walked Stevie up the aisle—it was one of those goosebumps moments as they made their way toward the celebrant, the breathtaking views of the Irish coastline all around them.

With the ruins of Dunluce Castle in the background and the sound of the waves below, the warm sunset made the moment even more special. Surrounded by the beauty of Ireland, Pete and Stevie exchanged their vows in a setting that perfectly reflected the wild and romantic elopement they had always dreamed of.

This simple yet unforgettable horseback wedding aisle experience at Dunluce Castle was the perfect way to begin their new life together. With Daisy by their side, their luxury horseback elopement in Ireland became a memory they will always cherish.
